We are a non-profit organization that directs community efforts to allow people to remain living in their homes as they age.
Our village includes the communities of Lake Oswego, West Linn, and the Stafford Hamlet.

The Vision and Mission of WLLO Village
Our vision is to continuously support and create better ways for our members to age in their home and our community.
Our mission is to support people who choose to age in their own homes and communities by creating a network of trained volunteers, offering social events, and providing access to local resources and vetted service providers to help our members feel comfortable, supported and socially connected.
Aging in Community
Villages are being formed all across the US to promote better health, foster an active lifestyle and fight social isolation among the large and growing 60+ demographic.
The Villages movement found that better physical and mental health result from the increased community interaction and personalized support available to members of villages.
The concept of "Aging in Community" is not new. For an article published by the American Society on Aging that explains it in more details, click here.
